E-mail Print PDF

aberdaronAberdaron Beach is located at the far end of the Llyn Peninsula in Gwynedd North West Wales.

This picturesque resort offers plenty to explore!

Aberdaron was on the medieval pilgrim's route to Bardsey Ireland. From the west end of the beach, a path rises up steps to the cliff top, a scenic walk leads to the cove of Porth Meudwy, the departure point for Bardsey Island.
Award winning Aberadon beach has very clean, clear blue water of excellent quality, the golden sands are pleasantly sheltered by the headlands.

The old parish church of St Hywyn's is also on the beach.

Besides accommodation, Aberdaron offers great facilities included on a small promenade, toilets, cafes, pubs and restaurants and a ramp allows small boats to be launched. Also windsurfing, sailing and canoeing and surfing are all popular at Aberdaron.
