Bracelet Bay

E-mail Print PDF

bracelet bayBracelet Bay is a popular beach resort on the south side of the Gower peninsula, Swansea, South West Wales.

Bracelet Bay is a limestone beach cove, its located behind mumbles lighthouse, the bay is pebble banked and there are many rock pools to explore, the sand is exposed when the tide recedes.

Amenities are located above this beach, a large car park, restaurants, bar, cafe, a fabulous Italian ice cream parlour, seaside shop selling snacks, buckets and spades etc. Accommodation is plentiful all around the Gower.
Swimming is good, the beach is clean, but be aware of strong currents between the two islands of mumbles head, and keep a look out for rocks! Lifeguards are on patrol during summer months, the Severn estuary currents can be dangerous!

There is a great view of Mumbles lighthouse from here.
